Made in the USA

Scottish and Irish immigrants brought their love for whisky to the USA, but soon after that the typically American styles developed. For example, corn makes up about 51% of the grains that are used in bourbon, where rye makes up 51% of the rye whiskeys.

The whiskey from Tennessee is filter over charcoal. Bourbons ripen in new barrels which are burned first, thus giving the spirit a stronger taste.
